As a member of the the Cherokee Nation, Jillian realized there was a lack of Indigenous representation in romantic fiction, so she writes stories that infuse native identity and joy, in one way or another.

She lives in the Midwest with her husband and kids, who keep her way too busy, but she wouldn’t have it any other way. When she’s not working or writing you can find her traveling the world, taking in nature, and catching as much live music as she can.
